Concierge Medicine is Superior Healthcare
Concierge Physician Associates is a boutique medical practice offering comprehensive primary, preventative and wellness care. Our Physicians believe that every patient entering our office should receive the care that is expected from a health professional, which means each patient receives the attention and personal time they deserve. This form of patient care is commonly known as Concierge medicine, direct practice or boutique medicine because Concierge Medicine operates outside of the insurance system as we do not bill insurance nor do we accept payment from insurance companies for our services.
Operating Outside of Insurance Allows us To Offer Superior Services
Insurance expenses, including billing and low reimbursement typically means that physicians are only paid one-half of each dollar they bill. With the high cost of insurance, many providers must fill their offices with patients each day to earn what they need to keep their practices running. Many times a patient that calls about seeing a physician must was a day or two before the office returns their call. If they are able to speak with someone they typically have to wait a couple of days before they can see a physician. Once they get in the office is usually filled with patients sitting in the waiting room and the physician takes only minutes to talk with about symptoms, give a diagnosis and a prescription.
With that in mind, Concierge Physician Associates does not accept insurance as payment. We feel that insurance is necessary for those times when catastrophic or unpreventable sickness or injury take place, however, we feel that by not billing for primary, preventative and wellness care we are able to take the time we need with our patients. We answer when you call, schedule you in our office at a time that is convenient for you and take time to discuss your symptoms and concerns without rushing through your exam or diagnosis. We also take the time to call in your prescription while you are still in our office which means you won’t have to wait at your Pharmacy to get them filled.
The goal of our practice is to provide care for a lower number of patients each day so we can provide a higher level of medical care. Our office sees hundreds of patients versus the thousands typically seen by a physician.
Concierge Physician Associates is here to provide the medical care you deserve as a patient. The time we set aside for our patients allows us to carefully listen to our patients, examine every complaint or symptom and provide meaningful preventative care.
